Mr. & Mrs. Wilken

Mr & Mrs Wilken, I literally couldn’t imagine a more perfect day! The rain cleared and made way for a perfectly cool morning and that sweet puppy in the vest and tie! So adorable! He was the star of the show! And this family? We have spent a lot of time with them the past few years and I couldn’t imagine a more genuine, hilarious group of people! As far Alex and Sara? It’s easy to see why they fit together so well - the perfect compliment for one another. She’s determined and organized, he’s easy going and incredibly supportive. Their day reflected both their personalities, especially when it was pretty hot that afternoon and they both braved the weather and weeds like champs for the perfect pictures. Lastly, between the speeches and the dancing, the recpetion was one not soon to be forgotten, that’s for sure!

Alex and Sara, thank you for just being the best and letting is play a small part in your big day! We wish you a lifetime of happiness!

Mr and Mrs Cleary

Every once in a blue moon you meet someone who just instantly makes you feel like family. These two, and their entire families, do just that. From our first meeting to the wedding, we were always greeted with hugs and shared laughs - that’s just how they are! These two are clearly meant to be together - she is always trying to find ways to make him happy, like engagement pictures at Notre Dame or a super fun Groom’s Cake to make him smile. And when he looks at her, it’s obvious that what he sees is perfect in his mind. Their story of how they got to this beautiful day is one for the books, but I’ll let them tell that another time. 

What I can tell you, is that it was a long time in the making and everyone was overjoyed to finally see them say their “I do’s”. The locations were beautiful and perfectly fitting for them! The Jewel Box in Forest Park made a cold day (I mean they were originally calling for SNOW!) feel warm and cozy. And The Old Rockhouse was the perfect reception site, full of so much character and unique details - just like the Bride in her purple wedding dress!

Paul and Laura, thank you so much for inviting us into your world and letting us tell your story. It’s a beautiful one and I can only hope we did it justice! We wish you nothing but the best for your future! I have a feeling lots and lots of happy times are ahead for you both! Congratulations!
