We have a BABY!!!

Early Thursday morning Amy thought she peed her pants....But really her water broke!

"I had been miserable for weeks and hoping to have this baby early but didn’t expect it to actually happen! I had only packed our bags the day before and wasn’t really sure about what was in there.
So here I was at 5:30 in the morning with Lo up and crying (stupid molars) and me still not really sure what just happened. So I picked her up and took her back to my bed wondering if this would be the last time snuggling with an only child. Once she got calmed down I woke up Brad and we’re en route to hospital within the hour.
As prepared as I thought I was- I wasn’t. It wasn’t until we dropped Lo off at grandmas did I realize I brought everything for Lo and nothing for Baby. “Oh great.” I thought “baby number 2 isn’t even here and I’m already forgetting their stuff.” A quick call later took care of that situation and before I knew it I was hooked up and waiting for that beautiful thing called an epidural. Now, I wouldn’t say it was a quick arrival. It’s took a while to fully progress. We got to the hospital a little after 8 and didn’t have a baby until 7 that evening but it didn’t bother me! I couldn’t feel a thing :) (Although I could feel myself starting to get hangry)
Now, if you know my husband, you know how much he was hoping for a boy. And Brad’s reaction to finally finding out the gender did not disappoint. In fact, we later found out the nurses at the nurses station heard his joyful exclamation and one asked “what was that?”  and the nurse who had been seeing me all day said “I’ll bet you room 2 just had the baby and it’s a boy.” And she was right!
So without further ado meet Tucker Michael Rehkemper!"
