Mrs & Mrs Stateler

Ladies and Gentlemen…. Welcome to what might be the longest blog post we’ve ever done. I simply cannot help it. When you have such genuine, amazing people to photograph, the results are too pretty to not share! Jenny and Randall have been so much fun from day one! They are the sweetest most adventurous and fun couple you could ever meet! Their day was gorgeous, although the weather gave us quite a challenge. The morning was so hot and humid it was nearly impossible to even breath outside, much less take a lot of images. Although, luckily we were able to finish those pretty quickly and get to church with make-up still in-tact ;). It was easy to see how happy the guests were to celebrate Randall and Jenny because the church was filled to the max, and the ceremony was beautiful, heartfelt and joyous. After the ceremony we planned to take family portraits and then out for creative images of the couple and wedding party. Ten minutes into taking pictures of the family George, the bride’s father, tapped me on the shoulder and said, “Might want to hurry, there’s a big thunderstorm coming - my guess is you’ve got about 30 minutes.” Well, let’s just say everyone moved pretty quickly after that. We got to Jenny’s parents house in enough time to take a handful of photographs before the sky boomed and the rain came down. Thank Goodness for the “Man Cave”, or we might have been stuck on the bus! The wedding party made a great time out of it by drinking and playing games. And, just as fast as it came, the storm went and left us with the most gorgeous pink and orange sky. Sometimes when things don’t go as planned, that’s when the magic happens ;) The day went on into a beautiful reception where the Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dance was trading off rounds of “Rocky Top’. That really got the party going and the dance floor was full all night! Truly, a good time was had by all!

So, here’s to Randall and Jenny - we wishyou many, many years of adventures and joy! Congratulations!
