This past weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Paige and John over the weekend and it was gorgeous! I am constantly in awe of the wonderful people we get to work with.
There were plenty of happy tears shed throughout the day and I even caught myself tearing up a time or two while Paige exchanged gifts with her parents. It was a memorable moment, to say the least.
The weather was gorgeous and the locations even more so. We went out to a family friend’s barn after the ceremony and it was the perfect setting for photographs! Of course, we couldn’t get by without stopping at John’s parents house. It’s not every day I’m lifted up 15 feet in the air with a skid steer to photograph their entire outdoor kitchen and wedding party! It’s a good thing I’m not scared of heights! :)
The dinner toasts kept the guests laughing and the sweet stories warmed their heart. We heard all about how Paige had a schoolgirl crush on “Johnny Kalmer” and it was followed up with genuine words from John’s brothers and lastly a sweet speech from Alex, Paige’s brother. It seemed as if the room was filled with nothing but love and support for this sweet couple.
