When Laua's sister Jen emailed me to photograph Lucie, I was thrilled! Not only had a previously photogaphed Lucie's mom and dad, Laura and Ryan, I had been following Lucie's story since Laura announced it. Early on in Laura's pregnancy, she was given the news that Lucie had CDH (Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia) and would require surgery after birth. You can read more about Lucie's story here. Thankfully, Lucie's birth and surgery went well and she is a beautiful, strong baby girl! She is truly a miracle and I'm so happy to capture her sweet smile for her family! I can't wait to see you guys for the viewing!
